Summer is coming. Will it be all work and no Play?

Summer … it’s coming.  But you are busy. The overflow of work building up.  Sending out more orders. Monitoring the social media posts.  Trialing new marketing tactics.  The phone calls and emails to follow up, and maybe webinars to catch up on.  Against precious time with family, and social or sports events to attend.  Home duties call too, the meals to organise, and cleaning.  Just feels like it’s all work and little time for fun outdoors.

Ahem – accounts work.  Nah, push that away.  There’s always next week.  Just not now, okay.

Because you’re exhausted in the evening.  Maybe the kids are not settling into bed easily at the moment.  Or you just want to chill out with family or friends tonight, it’s so warm and balmy outdoors.  Or a relaxing Netflix evening with a chilled wine called your name loudly.  And that voice in your head shushes “…do them accounts llllaaattttteer’.  And so the bookwork piles up …

Let’s whack the ‘stop’ button here.

That ‘number’ stuff you always push aside or down the bottom of the list,  why not just outsource these jobs to us?  Tell us what you don’t like doing.  And begin Mondays with tasks showing more relevant tasks to your skills.  The tasks you would prefer doing, or need to   focus on in your business.

Could do that weekend away checking out new cycle tracks on that national New Zealand Cycle Trail?  Plan a Bach weekend with the best friends you have not seen much of, lately.  Or a full day trip exploring a new beach or park with the kids.  Stop at a local chippie on the way home, for hot chips wrapped in newspaper.  Tip Top cone ice creams.  Let tense neck and shoulder muscles unwind, and crack some belly laughs with the family and friends, and create happy memories.
